A welcome from our Headteacher

Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a parent can make. Knowing your child is safe and happy, supported and stretched, is the foundation for their successful education.

I love watching our pupils dash through the gates with enthusiasm every morning. We want every child to love school, enjoy learning, develop resilience, tackle challenges through hard work and show compassion to others while feeling safe and never alone.

We achieve this through:

  • outstanding pastoral care systems,
  • a broad and outward-looking curriculum,
  • exciting, safe and well-maintained facilities
  • and a strong bond with parents and carers.

Our Christian values of loving care and respect benefit children from all faiths or none. Esher Church School is not just a faith school for Christians but a church school for all, fully inclusive of different backgrounds, faiths and abilities. Whatever their start-point, our children meet their full potential in an environment that fosters equal respect for themselves and others, preparing them for life beyond primary school.

It’s my honour to lead this school. I’m proud of our dedicated and talented staff team. But most of all I am proud of our wonderful children who demonstrate courage, compassion, hope, hard work and joy every day.
