School Lunches

Twelve15 provide the delicious school meals at ECS in our in-house kitchen. Our freshly made school meals are nutritious, using high quality ingredients with 80% UK produce and sourced responsibly with the Earth in mind.

Our local, passionate team of talented chefs make the lunches with love and care and offer a hot meal every day for all children, having 30 different menu items to choose from in a 3 week rotation.

This delicious offering provides all children with the vitamins and minerals they need for a balanced diet. Our school lunches allow parents and carers to focus on other areas of life, rather than having to make a packed lunch, freeing up their time for spending more time with their child, all in a cost effective way.

Our lunches are free for those children from Reception to Year 2 (Universal Free School Meals) and for those families who qualify for Free School Meals support.

For less than a latte, delicious school lunches are only £2.60 for children in Years 3 to Year 6.

Special Dietary Requirements

Does your child have a food allergy? Need a special diet? It is not a problem, as we cater for all dietary requirements. A dietary requirement form is available for parents in the Hub on Weduc or from the school office.

Costs, Payment & Free School Meals

School lunches represent excellent value at £2.60 per day or £13 per week. Families can alternate from school dinners to packed lunch as and when they prefer, and can alternate through the week depending on their child’s preferences. Payment may be made weekly, monthly or half termly but we advise to book meals at least two weeks in advance.  Meal selections and payments are made through the Parent Portal on Weduc.

If you believe your child is eligible for free school meals (FSM) and you have not already completed an application we would strongly encourage you to apply. Not only could this give your child access to free school meals, but the Pupil Premium funding that it attracts could also allow the school to support your child in other ways (e.g. clubs, school trips, residentials, etc.)

If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 they will already be entitled to a universal free meal (UIFSM). However, this does not allow for the additional support provided by the FSM/Pupil Premium Grant. Therefore, if you believe your child may be eligible for free school meals, you should still apply.
